It is easy to fall into the trap of becoming that which we dislike: revolution seeking conspiracy theorists that seek to overthrow the current elected government. Trump won - fair and square. He may not win the popular vote, but he won as our system is set up.

We have to remember that the wave of support that brought Trump into the presidency isn’t completely about hate, though he certainly used that to shore up his numbers. It was the people who feel that their way of life is disappearing. Not necessarily in the “immigrants taking my jobs” or “women getting all uppity” sort of way, but due to the rural areas of the country falling apart from the economic downturn. These people want change. They love the idea of someone that has no political experience. They truly see someone that doesn’t hold back, speaks his mind, and isn’t afraid to do what he feels is right.

And they won.
