Winter Storm incoming. Tracking this storm is very difficult and we could either get a bunch of cold rain or a huge pile of snow.

I was just talking about this today. The one that sticks out in my mind is pronouncing the color cyan with a ‘k’ sound. I read so much and never really interacted with others; I’m sure there are a quite a few more words I cannot actually pronounce correctly.

Funny story. The woman in front of me to get our ballots asked the ballot worker, “which party is Donald Trump in?” Since today is both the Republican and Democratic primary, she needed to mark which ballot to receive. The poll worker tells her that he’s on the Republican primary ballot. She thanks him and asks for the democratic ballot saying that, “he is the reason I am getting the democratic ballot”.

She also made some side comments as I was walking up about how crude and disgusting he was.

Every stoplight is out on 28th Street near the malls. I’d estimate that about 2% of the people understand that a dead stoplight is a four-way stop. It’s quite harrowing.

Oh my my. My little boy has become quite the little monster these past few days.

Look, it’s a big and exciting weekend for many of us. My daughter and I, along with a few friends, have tickets to see a huge movie opening this weekend. People will be excited to chat about what happens, who and what does what, when and where, etc. Please know that we’ll all get a chance to discuss this epic weekend in due time. The doctor on call agreed with us. She needs one more test and - depending on the results of this test - will get to come home with us.

I must be experiencing time dilation… I feel as if we have been waiting for days in this room…… it’s only been 18 hours.

Today was a difficult day. Aurora is here, but we are unable to be with her. We got to see her for a few minutes on our way from recovery. Her tiny body is working hard to get air into her lungs. I tried to talk to her but the words choked in my throat.

Aurora was born at 5:30 pm at 7 pounds 12 ounces. She is having trouble breathing and is in the NICU on a CPAP machine. We won’t get to be with her tonight, but she’s in good hands.

I’m going in to the operating room in just a few minutes! We have a baby inbound!

There was a 20~ish minute delay in staying. We’re expecting Aurora now around 5pm.

I’m standing by with the baby Aurora announcement and pictures! 4:30pm is still the planned time.
