As he worked his way around the room the numerous people who had just moments ago been eating their meals began loudly arguing over a course of action. Everything from breaking down a wall to removing a support pillar was discussed. One Nasrectian Beatle spoke of lighting his flatulence on fire but was quickly condemned by everyone around him. They were known for their explosive out gassing and such an explosion would more likely kill everyone in the room then do anything useful to the wall.

Without geometry life is pointless.

The rest of the residents of Andromeda find the sport rather confusing and overwhelming, preferring their sport of pick-up sticks which carries a name so unusual that it is unable to be displayed by the electronic device you are using to read this – or printed by the machine that made this book if you’re a Milky Way Hipster who reads paper books. So typical.

Huh… seems to be some funny things going down in Facebook land. Where be my posts!?

I don’t do very well when people watch me do things. I certainly do not do well when they listen to what I’m saying. You get me in a room with more than one or two people and I typically freeze up horribly. I become very self-conscious.

I’m most likely going to be called to the stand in a trial this coming week. It’s going to take everything in my power to contain my nervousness.

Just as Johnny was thinking the end was near the unthinkable happened. His computer terminal went blank. Not just any sort of blank, mind you, but a solid purple screen. On the screen was text written in many different languages of which a few Johnny was able to understand. It said:

A problem has been detected and DerpOS has been shut down to prevent damage to your spaceship. The problem seems to be caused by the following file: make_ship_go_vroom.SYS. If this is the first time you have seen this error screen, restart your spaceship.

A wave of horror struck Johnny when he saw this screen. This spacecraft was using DerpOS to run its systems. The single most bug filled computer operating system to have ever been manufactured to the lowest bidder.
