Web 1.0 was the best Web.
Today I picked up ‘The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion” today. A follow up to the highly praised ‘Morrowind.’ Oblivion is a open-ended role playing game where you could take a year or more to fully explore the entire available area. Oh, and it’s very pretty, would you expect less with it being on the 360?
I am about 7 hours into the game, which is not very much by any means. (There are some people who are playing Morrowind still today, and it was released in May 2002.)
In fact, I was playing Oblivion when I get a knock on the door. I open to find the head maintenance guy.
Maintenance Guy: “You have a leak?”
Me: “Uhm… not that I know of, let me look.”
I close the door and walk torwards the kitchen when I find myself into water up to my ankles (inch, inch and a half) and thats in the living room… a flood of water was coming in through a broken pipe under our sink. Flooded our kitchen, closet, bathroom, and a good portion of our living room. Also put a lot of water in our neightbors kictchens.
Joy.
