Although I still have a tickle in my throat, I’m finally beating down this sickness that has had me under the weather since Friday afternoon. Nasty stuff.

So, it’s Friday – after today I get a nice long 3 day weekend that I wasn’t expecting. Someone here at work request for 2 days off and my boss-lady-person mistakenly put one of those days as me. When I found out that I had a PTO day and didn’t request one, I asked her whats up? She relised her error and was going to fix it, but decided she didn’t want to have to deal with all the paper work, so she told me I was going to have that day off. She didn’t have to tell me twice!! My job is great because our personal time off (PTO) is paid. So aside from 80 hours of vacation time (2 weeks) we also get over 100 hours of paid time off. Woohoo.

In Final Fantasy XI, I recently got my AF gloves. This leaves me to get my AF body and then I’m set! Gloves are level 60, so I have 3 1/2 levels to go before I can even wear them

Hurricane Emily is long gone, but now enter Tropical Storm Franklin, currently it’s predicted to make a turn east and not effect the main land U.S. (map below) It seems, however, that it’s very unlikely that this storm is going to strengthen and/or last very long. Franklin is being sheared from the southwest by the outflow of a tropical wave that is in the process of gathering strength and can very well likely become a tropical depression soon, maybe moving on to become Tropical Storm Gert.
