Ooops. I'm Not Dead
August 23, 2005

I’m still alive. Honestly. Got a friendly e-mail nudging me to make sure I was still kicking. I am.

Sadly, it’s been quite boring really. My sister and her fiance were out of town so I had the apartment to myself. Which means I did… nothing really. I had an extended weekend since my days off are changing. So I had Sat, Sun and Mon off.

However, now I have a coworker during my shift. I’m so used to working on my own, I forgot what human interaction was. I don’t like it. The guy is nice and all, but it almost feels like someone is walking into my turf. I’m used to doing everything and sort of feel like he’s only going to get in the way.

Hmm, what else what else… oh, got my Australian friend Sharon to listen to Kidd Kraddick in the Morning. Of course that would be Kidd Kraddick in the late evening there. (It is on 8pm to 1am there) She listened to it over the internet (obviously) and I forgot to ask her what she thought of it. She said it was funny listening to American radio with our American accent. (What accent! I don’t have an accent!)

Of course I pointed out who Jen Austin was. Not just any Jen Austin, the Jen Austin! (Bet you wonder how many times I can say Jen Austin in this next paragraph… you weren’t? Nevermind then…) Now I wonder, when will we get to hear the Jen Austin in the Morning show?? ?? You can sign me up for that. What if the show isn’t here in the Dallas area? Better be on the internet then! (if you’re keeping track, I said her name 5 times. If you got that correct, you win a gold star and a cookie!)

Okay, I’m rambling again which means I’m tired. I’ll try posting a bit more often for all 3 people who read this. (actually, if I believe my web stats tracking software thingamajiger… I have quite a few people looking at my weblog…. Why? •laugh•)
