Today I finally taught myself how to conjugate verbs to show that I am performing the action, that I wish to perform the action, and I wish for us to do the action. For example:

The verb “To see” 見る (miru) conjugates like so:

I see: 見ます (mi masu) I want to see: 見たいです (mi tai desu) Let’s see: 見ましょう (mi mashou)

The verb “To go” 行く (iku) conjugates like so:

I go: 行きます (iki masu) I want to go: 行きたいです (iki tai desu) Let’s go: 行きましょう (iki mashou)

I’m slowly tackling Japanese! よし!

よし = yoshi (pronounced yosh – yo as in Yo!, sh as if you’re telling some to be quiet.) It means a lot of things, but generally used when you want to exlaim YES! OK! ALRIGHT! etc.
