One of the things I like is movies and television shows from other countries. I enjoy experiencing new things, and international TV is right up my alley. Yesterday I got the chance to see two episodes of a Japanese Drama that was released from July to September in Japan. So far, this has been one of the best shows that I’ve seen, and I’m sure it’s going to get even better. The name of the show is 電車男 (Densha Otoko / train man).

It’s funny, light-hearted, and funny enough: based on a true story.

Densha Otoko is the story of a Japanese geek in his early 20s who saves a beautiful woman from a drunken groper on a train, and then chronicles his subsequent dates with the woman and requests for help on the extremely popular, and currently the worlds largest online forum, 2ch (”Ni channeru” Literally: Two Channel)
